I think we get it wrong….
We think we are saving the world by cutting down plastics, planting trees, reducing carbon emissions….
Reduce, reuse, recycle… they say… But the truth is, we are not addressing the elephant in the room….
A nuclear war could wipe out the entire planet, an oil spill could kill all sea life and turn earth into a desert, having no farms or farmers would mean world hunger…
We are losing the forest for the trees by focusing on the minutiae of recycling, reusing and reducing… No amount of that can prevent a catastrophe….
So perhaps when we think of saving the world we should first look at how we can ensure our own sustainability with a system that ensures our survival with NO wars, greed or self centred eccentricity…
